Pouran is a Speech-Language Pathologist with both clinical and research experience. She is committed to providing evidence-based, patient-centered care and is passionate about staying up to date with the latest research to deliver the highest quality services to her clients.
She is currently a PhD candidate in Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Ottawa. Pouran has more than seven years of clinical experience working in both Canada and internationally. She speaks English, Farsi, Azerbaijani, and Turkish.
Pouran enjoys working with both adults and children. She provides assessment and therapy services for adults with communication and swallowing disorders following stroke or traumatic brain injury, as well as individuals with voice disorders, as well as pediatric clients, including late talkers, children with speech sound disorders, autism spectrum disorder, language delays, and clients who may benefit from Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems.
